[Askify] How did I use Y-Combinator’s StartUp library for building a product?

Where knowledge queries meet thought leaders

About a year ago I was a game developer and had released quite a few decently popular games but although I had 2–3 successful games (more than 500K downloads) I was unable to monetize it. I looked all around the web for more comprehensive suggestions on monetizing but everywhere there was content with clickbait title and no content, out of the blue one of my friends recommended me YC.

Fast forward a few months back, I joined Y-Combinator, and man that was the best suggestion anyone could have given me, the startup library content, startup school recommendation, the community everything was directed targeted and useful for me. I got through a lot of content at a fast pace and I was building my product gradually.

Problem

But then I faced a problem although I had watched a whole lot of contents I was unable to recall many of the content and more specifically, parts were someone was talking about let’s say “How did you came up with your pricing” or “Paul Graham on doing things that don’t scale” and I have seen these exact problems with many new StartUp founders, they ask the same question in forums which have been answered comprehensibly in videos and as YC says “Problems are an opportunity to create products”

Askify

Fast forward now we have launched Askify with YC fully indexed, No more need to write in forums or rewatch the whole video just ask in and get the answers. Let’s see it in action. Website Link: [Askify]

Let’s Ask :
How will the founders know if they have a product-market fit ?

How will the founders know if they have a product-market fit?

and behold we got the exact video and that too automatically starts from the exact moment 23:33 minutes (this is where he talked about it).

You can even ask a person directly eg: Paul Graham

What did Paul Graham say on doing things that don’t scale?

What did Paul Graham say on doing things that don’t scale ?

This uses recent breakthrough in AI and NLP to go beyond keywords and understands semantics of natural language.

What did Eric say on how to do user interview?

What did Eric say on how to do user interview?

again right person and right video at the exact moment

Made it for Myself

As a user myself to YC libraries I have found it much more fast and useful, This helps me significantly save time so that I can work on coding rather than searching.
P.S - It also helps me save bandwidth :P

Thanks!

we have also indexed the whole archive of [Khan Academy] for helping students and young learners in developing country with low bandwidth

Do share the links and claps in spreading the word and helping us reach out to more students
